Last year and lately we´ve been mainly publishing our trees, stories and offers via Facebook, please follow us there via @bonsaimoravia. We hope to post on our blog every now and then, however with no guarantee :-), probably when we finally expand our crew with the planned opening of our new bonsai centre (hopefully this year). But meanwhile please stay tuned and follow our Bonsai photogallery which is supposed to be the core of this
This chuhin size korean hornbeam is progressing nicely since I purchased it in summer 2018. In winter it was fully restyled and in spring 2019 repotted into a pot by Hugo Studenik. Now it is ready for the exhibition in Prague which will be held very soon on 7 – 8 September. Tento menší korejský habr jsem pořídil loni v létě a od té doby se pěkně posunul – přes zimu proběhlo kompletní přetvarování a
I posted this little guy on our old blog back in December 2018 when I did a restyling, here is a previous text: I purchased this shimpaku juniper 2 years ago as a little bit neglected used-to-be bonsai imported from Japan many years ago. In those past 2 growing seasons I´ve been wondering how to improve this tree in terms of aesthetic design and this late fall I reset the structure and change the planting
Come back to Hwa Fong exhibition again, I want to share few detailed shots of these amazing trees, hope you will enjoy it :). Zpátky k výstavě Hwa Fong, rád bych ještě ukázal pár detailů stromů z tého úžasné výstavy, snad se Vám budou líbit.
During our Taiwan trip, we had a chance to visit few bonsaists and their gardens. Of course, it was possible thanks to our great guide Min Hsuan Lo, so ones more, thanks a lot for this opportunity! It was inspiring to discuss about the different styles, tree species, possibilities, about the taiwanese approach to bonsai art. As we mentioned before, we like the taiwanese way of styling and also the way, how they prepare trees
Lets continue with deciduos trees gallery from Hwa fong. 95% of trees is big sized, as we used to say „two-man trees“. That is size which we love and also work with :). ENJOY! Prohledněte si galerii listnáčů z výstavy Hwa fong. Téměř všechny stromy jsou v té největší kategorii, jak u náš říkáme „dvouchlapé bonsaje“. Přesně tuto velikost máme rádi :).
See this amazing gallery of conifer bonsai trees from Hwa Fong exhibition. Really exceptional juniper and pine trees. What we like about these trees is the taiwanese styling, which is very different from the japanese style, but it looks much more natural and final result is very close to real junipers in nature. Later we will also post some shots of junipers from the mountains, so you can then compare it. It is good to
Lets continue with shohin bonsai trees, which were presented at Hwa fong exhibition at exceptional quality. Please notice an interesting bonsai pots of different styles, colours, also with paintings. Shohiny byly prezentovány na výstavě ve výjímečné kvalitě. Povšimněte si také stylů a barevnosti misek, často s ručně malovanými kresbami, které se na Taiwanu těší oblibě. Zpět
The exhibition Hwa Fong was interesting by presenting large trees or shohin size trees, almost no middle size. Exactly how we like it :). I would like to share few shots of shohin stands. Výstava Hwa fong byla výjimečná tím, že prezentovala velikostně nadstandardní stromy, případně shohiny, jen výjimečně stromy střední velikosti. Takže přesně dle našeho gusta :). Zpět
At the beginning of November, we had a great opportunity to visit taiwanese bonsai exhibition Hwa Fong 2018. It was already the 23rd year of this most prestigious exhibition in Taiwan. Our guide has become Min Hsuan Lo, one of the world’s most respected bonsai masters in this island country. In this first part on our photostory from Taiwan, I would like to share few views from this exceptional exhibition. Začátkem listopadu jsme měli skvělou
